With sunlight in short supply this time of year, my lunch break has become my best time to get out. This is a view looking south down Reading Railroad's old Bethlehem Branch towards Souderton from Central Ave. There is still some pockets of color around town.
This view of the intersection of Allentown Road and Route 113 will soon be changed forever. The Pilgrim's Pride (former Longacre) poultry plant is coming down. The plant has been at this location since the 1950's and closed sometime in 2009-2010. The sight is said to be the future sight of the Bergey's Volvo-Mack truck dealership.
As frost starts to be a regular visitor in the mornings, the last of the fall colors are making their way to the to the ground. Winter seems to be right on the heals of autumn this year.
