It took longer than I had expected, but a train shot was inevitable. Railroad photography is in my blood (my uncle and grandfather we both avid rail and trolley photographers) and now, so is my son Daniel. This is a shot looking towards route 309 from Washington Avenue in Telford, PA. Just a few hundred feet away is where my mom used to take me to a park to play when I was little, and watch Reading Railroad freight trains rumble through town. This is now part of the Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad, where it interchanges with the East Penn Railroad.
A glimpse out our back window told me that we might be in for a good sunrise. I headed down to the Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, located on Cowpath Road in Telford, PA. The steeple looked so cool as the sun started to kiss the side of it. Within 30 minutes, the sky was overcast.
The temperatures have taken quite a rebound from earlier in the week. The snow and ice is melting fast. This shot is at Branchwood Park on Camp Road in Salford, PA. It was very quiet, except for the occasional pops from the ice on the creek.
