Completed in 1972, Martin Tower was a symbol of Bethlehem Steel's power and might. Sadly, today it sits vacant. One can only hope that this structure can be revitalized soon. There is still original furniture sitting inside the lobby.
This looks like it could have been taken in the 50's, but it actually was taken today at Reading & Northern's headquarters in Port Clinton, PA. This engine was originally Reading Company #2102. On our way up to ride ATV in Minersville, the boys and I acted on a hunch and found her sitting outside. This would be the first time Daniel and Sean have seen the beautiful engine. We can only hope she will one day be running again. (Bucket list for sure!)
Our daughter and son-in-law in front of their new home. Congratulations guys!
