Proverbs 18:24 - A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. We were able to have lunch today with two of the most wonderful couples in our lives. We are so thankful for godly friends, like these, who truly have stuck closer than a brother to Kim and myself.
Kim and I got to take some of our youth group out to the Harvest Rally in Morgantown, PA today. Kim challenged me to a duel. Don't let the picture foll you, I didn't take the shot. (It was tempting though :)
We spent the day out at our state capital of Harrisburg, PA. This is a shot looking off of the People's Bridge, or Walnut Street Bridge. It leads from center city to the island park. The Capital dome is off to the left, above the horse.
Sometimes it's the simple things. I heard Daniel and Kim outside yesterday along with the sound of the ATV. I looked out to find Daniel giving mom a ride up the sand mound. They seem to be looking for something?
We decided last minute to take our bikes over to the Perkiomen Trail. This is an old rail trail that winds through northern Montgomery County, PA. We road from Crushed Road all the way to Spring Mount. The entire trail is 20 mile sin length.
I was wondering all day what to take a photo of for April Fool's Day. At 7:45pm, I got my answer. My wife called; Bobby (our 87 year old neighbor) drove his tractor all through our front yard trying to get out of the mud! Oh well, things happen. No harm, no foul.
